Dear All,
Together with a report we launched today (http://instrat.pl/en/coal-phase-out/), we are opening our database of Polish thermal power plants: http://bit.ly/instratpowerplants
I hope it will be useful in your modelling efforts, the data was gathered from multiple sources, some very tricky to find.
We will soon make an interactive version on our platform http://energy.instrat.pl/, but for now, please enjoy the Google sheet :)

This kind of cataloging and presentation
are not ideal of course. Perhaps others have suggestions as to
how better to integrate this kind of information into a wider
data commons?

This is currently a raw version, we will include it on our energy.instrat.pl platform, so it should then be easier to use. We can also think about integrating our data format with some of the larger open data frameworks/platforms to keep it consistent and easy to input into energy models.
