DeepZoom integration

I am starting work on DeepZoom integration, which looks to be a relatively simple task. Would this be welcome as a PR against the project itself, or should I develop it as a plugin/extension? Also, I was kind of surprised that this does not already exist.

That would be similar to ol.source.Zoomify, right? I would not be
opposed to a pull request against the project. Can you please create a
ticket on GitHub with your proposal? We'll add the "Pull request
accepted" tag there when the proposal looks good.
