One of the aims of this ongoing consultation is to understand how different stakeholders (advocates; educators; funders; managers; producers; policymakers; students) in different countries perceive the challenges and priorities for research into open education. Some key thematic findings that are emerging include different research agendas for the Global North / Global South, sustainability in the OER ecosystem and understanding barriers to adoption. If you’re interested in finding out more about the consultation and the findings to date, check out this blog post by Rob Farrow and slides from OER16.
As early career researchers, students and members of the OpenCon community we would love to hear your thoughts on the priorities for open education research. Contributing to the consultation should take no more than 5 minutes and you can do so by completing this super short survey (http://bit.ly/1NGXQ4F)
Thanks in advance for contributing and please feel free to spread the word and share the survey. We’re looking forward to hearing your thoughts and sharing them back to the community over the coming months… thank you!
Best wishes
