How much longer?

Hi,

I was just wondering if there is any revisions to the estimate of the timeline to achieving General Intelligence. Any major setbacks or jump forwards?

No major setbacks, no major jumps forward, just steady progress

Our current goal is to have a humanoid robot with basic
common-sensical sentience regarding itself and its environment within
3 years ... and a full human adult level AGI within 9 years ....
According to my best judgment we are on track.

Hi Ben,

I wish the opencog team the best of luck and I am watching eagerly to see the day when you finally say that it is done. Whether we will celebrate that day or not, I don't know. But if you succeed, we sure will remember it.
