Glimpse- localhost refused to connect

Hi ,

I tried Glimpse. As per the instructions, REST API is running and Glimpse is  listening on port 8000.

When i went to  http://localhost:8000 in my  browser, it says, "localhost refused to connect. Site cannot  be reached."

What  am i missing?

Thank you for trying glimpse. If your browser isn't opening http://localhost:8000, the local server has failed to launch. Please send me the steps you followed and I'll assist you in running glimpse and visualizing the atomspace.

Hi Selameab,

Thanks  for the reply. 

1. started the REST from python shell

2. From  the glimpse installed directory, typed "npm start"

3. Checked the localhost 8000

I have attached the screen shots.
