Spectral Timing in Julia (Stingray.jl) GSoC 2025

Hey everyone,

I'm jawad, a 6th-semester BSCS student with a strong interest in AI, ML, and scientific computing. Recently started an AI/ML internship and have experience with Python, Julia, and time-series analysis.

I came across the "Spectral Timing in Julia" project for GSoC 2025, and it looks super interesting! Porting X-ray timing analysis tools from Stingray (Python) to Julia sounds like a solid challenge, especially working on periodograms, cross spectra, and variability vs energy spectra.

I’d love to contribute to this. Just started exploring Stingray.jl and the original Stingray Python library, and I want to get more involved.
