Tried to do the upgrade.  Got the database upgrade screen.  I logged in and got the following error.

ticketsCAD Installer v3.44.1

Installed version: v3.42.0

Latest GitHub release:
Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function getLatestGitHubRelease() in C:\xampp\htdocs\Tickets\install.php:926 Stack trace: #0 {main} thrown in C:\xampp\htdocs\Tickets\install.php on line 926

Thanks

Chris

I recommend manually updating the files to the latest version.v3.44.3

I think the issue was created with Commits on Mar 29, 2026. The fix was on April 2nd with the release of 3.44.2.
Using GIT is the easiest way to stay current with TicketCAD.  There have been approximately 54 updates since the version you're running to reach the latest 3.44.3

Version 4.0.0.0 is roughly 4 weeks away.

I am running on windows and am not familiar with using GIT on windows.

Or should I just wait for 4.0.   It looks amazing..

Thanks
Chris

You can download the latest zip package over your current installation.

GIT as a tool does this with precision and certain commands will tell you exactly what's about to change.
When only one or two files need changing, only those files get overwritten. When you want to 'stash' your customizations, you can do that, try the new version and restore or merge with just a couple of commands. Much like the new CAD system, it has a lot of features. It's worth learning, and you only need the basics to utilize its value.
