Phd2 iPad Application ?

First of all, this Phd2 program we use is very super and thank you. It is also very difficult to carry a laptop and find a suitable power supply. But is it possible to combine zwo camera ascom and phd2 combinations with an ipad pro tablet released in 2021?

Hi Batuhan

I don't see how that would be possible. PHD requires Ascom drivers (or Indi), neither of which run on IOS.

you might consider using ASIAir and their iOS client. It's not PHD (and not supported here) but would meet your needs from a power supply/no laptop perspective

Assuming your laptop uses a typical transformer that converts your AC line voltage (110 or 220) that drops the voltage to the 19.5VDC that most laptop use, you could get an inverter that uses 12VDC input and outputs AC voltage (110 or 220, depending upon your location). Then plug your normal laptop transformer into the inverter. Not particularly efficient due to conversion losses, but then laptops do not use much power. Anything over 200W inverter should be more than sufficient for most laptops, but check the transformer on yours.
