guide camera usb connection

I am new to guiding and would like to ask if my guide camera (asi120mm mini) can be connected to the usb 2.0 hub on my main camera (asi294mc pro) with a usb cable as opposed to connecting the ST4 between the guide camera and the mount ST$ connection.? Thanks,

Hi John

short answer is yes, but if you start to have camera connection issues, you may need to plug it in to your computer directly

avoid using ST4 if at all possible, that is outdated technology
