It sounds like haven’t installed the ASCOM platform or it didn’t install correctly. The platform installation includes a diagnostics tool that you can run to see if things are installed correctly. You also have to download and install the ASCOM driver for your mount.

Im setting up a windows 10 laptop with astro programmes but neither PHD or CDC are connecting to SS2K via the Ascom Hub

Well, the ASCOM diagnostics log shows you have no COM ports on your computer so you won’t get far with any ASCOM mount driver. You probably haven’t installed/configured a USB-to-serial device. You should avoid using the Device Hub at this point – it shouldn’t be needed, it’s relatively new, and it has been a bit buggy.
