Guiding with a Paramount - pulse guiding or direct guiding with NINA?

Trying to sort out a conflict between online papers. One says select 'Direct Guiding' the other says 'Pulse Guiding'. I found another reference that says to select both - any suggestions on how to break the tie other than testing all three options? Thank you, Gary

So the unchecked boxes should remain unchecked even when using a Paramount? 

I think I do have to check the “Inhibit sync…’ to protect my TPoint model. What about enabling ‘tracking offsets’ and ‘finding home’?

Whatever gets checked would need to be the same in PHD2 and in the Mount Settings in NINA - correct?
