For some reason the PHD2 Log Viewer does not see all the log files in the folder.  The first attached screen print shows what the Viewer sees when I try "File, Open" from its menu.  The second screen print shows the folder from Windows.  More files are in the folder than the Log Viewer can see.

Is this a file size restriction for the app?  Or something else?  If a file size restriction, could you please tell me the maximum number of records that can be opened by the Viewer at one time?  Thanks!

The Log Viewer is designed to read only Guide Log files.  While both are text files, the detailed format of the Debug log is very different AND not really intended for presenting graphical data.

Roy sorry can you clarify what is your question?

If you’re looking for the PHD log viewer it’s a separate download. Just google it

It's in PHD Log Viewer, a companion app to PHD, not PHD itself

it's covered a little bit in this presentation

If you have a problem, you should create your own forum message rather than replying to someone else's thread that is talking about something entirely different.  Go to the PHD2 forum and click on the 'New conversation' button to start a new message thread. In addition to describing your problem,  you also need to attach both your guide and debug log files following the instructions here:

Bruce
