For statistical reasons I would like to be able to zoom-out in https://plus.codes/map/

For example the OLCode is 8GC2CMXR+X6 . The area part is 8GC2 and the local part is CMXR+X6
Now I am interested in selecting only the quadrant of the area 8GC2 in https://plus.codes/map/

Entering the areapart (8GC2) of the code in https://plus.codes/map/ results in an error message.

Hi Peter

The codes are called plus codes - meaning they must have a "+" in them!

If you have the code 8GC2CMXR+X6, then to just get the area code, you use 8GC20000+ (zeros in front of the "+" indicate "no digit").

At the moment the site will display "0000+ Antipata 280 84, Greece" for that - that's a bug, I'll fix it as soon as I can.
