Hi Jay,You're right that controllers using the XEM7310 FPGAs will not currently work with the GUI, but it shouldn't be too hard to add support for them. I opened an Issue to track progress here: https://github.com/open-ephys-plugins/rhythm-plugins/issues/7Are you able to help with testing once we have an updated plugin available?JoshOn Fri, Aug 18, 2023 at 7:43 AM, James McNally <james.m...@gmail.com> wrote:Hi All,I just purchased a new Intan RHD 512 channel recording system and am having issues with getting Open Ephys GUI software to recognize it. The software says:"Scanning USB for Opal Kelly devices...Found 1 Opal Kelly device connected:Device #1: Opal Kelly UNKNOWN with serial number...No XEM6310-LX45 Opal Kelly board found."I believe the issue is that my new Intan RHD system has a newer FPGA, as the device manager lists XEM7310. It looks like the XEM6130 devices are now listed as "end-of-life" on the Opal Kelly website.Does the GUI software not presently support the newer FPGAs?We have an older Intan RHD system that works with open ephys GUI without issue. Also, the new system works fine using the software supplied by Intan.Has anyone else experienced this issue? If so, is there any potential work around? Thanks for any info you can provide,Jay
