Hi there,

I am defining pregnancy outcomes for submission of data to a public repository. I cannot find an ontology term for 'pregnancy of unknown location'. I wonder if you would be interested in adding one.

Many thanks,
Chris

Dear Chris,

Thanks for your message.

It appears that the term can be added to OPMI – Ontology of Precision Medicine and Investigation. I am a developer of OPMI. I would be happy to add the term to OPMI.

Best,

Oliver

Hi Oliver,

Many thanks for the fast reply - that would be great. Would you like me to define the term? I work in a hospital with many clinical collaborators who could help me to reach a consensus term.

Best wishes,
Chris

Hi Oliver,

I have spoken to my clinical colleagues and we would like to propose the following definition:

Pregnancy of unknown location: a pregnancy in which the site of embryo implantation cannot be determined by transvaginal ultrasound.

I hope this is ok and please let me know when the term has been added.

Best wishes,
Chris

Hi Oliver,

I hope you are well. I was wondering if the pregnancy of unknown location definition has been added to the ontology database.

Best wishes,
Chris
