frequency of update

  Just want to confirm the frequency of updates for ontologies (and for SIO in particular - and where exactly). it wasn't stated in https://ontobee.org/faqs, nor is this information available from the metadata page for the ontology e..g https://ontobee.org/ontology/SIO

Hi Michel,

 

It appears that your SIO is updated.

 

We have recently updated our automatic Ontobee updating program due to Michael’s nice work (thanks!).

As I recall, the automatic Ontobee updating program does the checking and updating daily now, at least for OBO ontologies.

Please confirm this. We should also include the updating frequency information on our website FAQs.

indeed - would be great to add some metadata to each ontology

e.g. FILE obtained from URL on DATE

Also, I think the file source has been added in current Ontobee. We can add DATE as well.

BTW, I've decided to retire the semanticscience resolver (in operation for over 10 years) in favour of Ontobee:

with respect to the file source, is that the annotation Download?:
