Seeker Level Content - All For Immortality

I'm still interested in trying to get this run. While I would prefer to play, I am completely open to GMing the scenarios myself.

Anyone else interested? If so please post about it here, and we can try and figure out when and where.

Some details for the uninitiated - All for Immortality is a series of three tier 12-15 scenario's published in Season 7. There are no restrictions on running or playing them, beyond the normal for PFS scenarios.

To quote scenario opener

Every year, one of Thuvia’s five city-states receives a mere six vials of the famous sun orchid elixir—a potent and extravagantly expensive tonic able to reverse the effects of aging. After both of his last two shipments disappeared without a trace, the ruler of Pashow has retained the services of the Pathfinder Society to ensure that this year the elixir arrives unharmed and restores prosperity to his realm. However, what begins as an unusual security assignment quickly spirals into a revelatory unveiling of Pashow’s treacherous underbelly.

I do know this scenario significantly involves the Aspis Consortium at some point, and I've heard from some people who've played it that it's quite lethal, being designed to challenge the type of Seeker level character's you'd have in 2017 instead of the almost Core ones you'd have in 2011. Speaking of Core, I'd be open to running/playing it as a Core Campaign game, if other people would like that instead, although that isn't my first preference. Anyways, here's hoping we can get this thing going, I'd really like to see if I can get a character all the way to the top.

I can probably be convinced to GM this if people want. Some conditions, though

1) No more than one game a month. More than that would burn me out

2) In at least 1 scenario the characters get a choice. If I GM that there is NO choice, they go the way I want (one way leads to an encounter I absolutely refuse to run). 

As an aside, I've played this in Core. Group of experienced players with characters who had played together a lot. So, fairly close to as good as Core gets. We succeeded overall but it was tough from time to time. And we were intelligent enough to run like scared <insert noun of your choice> from one encounter rather than very, very likely face a TPK. We 1/2 failed that scenario but DID succeed in the whole thing overall.

So, for people who are interested in playing, when would you be able to, and what location works best for you?

Paul (I'm completely fine with all of your conditions, and I assume everyone else interested would be), when would you be able to GM, and where would you prefer to do it?

For my part, my current lack of employment means I'm free almost whenever for now (that will hopefully change soon, but that probably won't be relevant for the first scenario). I'd prefer S&B, but if another place (one of the U of T buildings, some other store with game space, someone willing to give space at there house) is btter for other people I'm willing to travel farther than normal.

Robert and Eric have both expressed interest in playing and  availability on that date, John has apparently ended up doing AFO with another group.

So a party of 6 assuming Henrico can make it, not sure what levels Robert or Eric's characters would be, not sure how tiers work with 12-15 scenarios anyways.

I'm bringing the metamorph, is everyone else planning on bringing the characters we did Eyes of the Ten with last year? Eric mentioned bringing a aasimar monk/mystic theurge that got grandfathered in, and I'm assume Robert will be bringing either a druid, a wizard, or a cleric.

For a 12-15 it is almost essential for everybody to be in the same tier.

Eyes is worth 5 XP, so if you did Eyes of the Ten and Unleashing the Untouchable, you should be level 14.

Huh, guess I forgot to level the character up at after playing Unleashing the Untouchable, and just assumed that was the level they're supposed to be at. Thanks for the catch, I should be 14.0

It'd probably be a good idea, if possible, to try and make sure that we the players all have at least a basic understanding of each other in the parties game plans are, so as to save time with spell preparation/item purchases and also in combat (primary and backup methods of dealing with enemies, mobility options, what buffs overlap with stuff our characters already have, and so on). That'd be easier if two of the people of are interested in playing where able to post in this thread, but oh well.

What's the martial option, Zach?

Henrico (if you can make it), Jason, would you be planning on bringing the wiz/fig/EK and the blackblade magus from Eyes?

Haven't been able to get into contact with Robert, but I got an email from Eric concerning his character's level and general stuff

He's 12.1. He's fairly tough and should be able to handle high tier. His
AC will be at least 30, his lowest save is 12 and CMD is 25. Mostly he
will buff the others. His weaknesses are 90hp being a bit low, a BAB of
4 and limited to 5th level spells.

So one level 12 character and four level 14 characters puts us at 13.6 precisely, and another level 14 would just put us at recurring 6s. We'll be playing high tier with no four player adjustment, I think? I'm not sure how tier stuff works with seeker level content. The "lower level" out of tier player is at 12 and knows the risks, so we should be fine

Final party makeup is

metamorph alchemist 14 - natural attacks with big str and big ac (6 14 hour mpIVs or gfIs, 14 hours of greater mutagen), great senses, decent knowledge's,  decent stealth, passable face skills, elephant friend

blackblade magus 14 - standard magus schtick, dervish dance crit fish with touch spells for big damage, not sure what skills (a couple decent knowledge's, IIRC)

either an unchained monk 14 - (not sure what build) or

faith psychic 14 - spontaneous caster, enchantment spells that can overcome standard limitations, some cleric spells, face and knowledge skills

archeologist bard 14 - melee focused, amazing self buff in archeologist's luck, good caster, knowledge skills, face skills, other skills too, very importantly trapfinding

aasimar monk/cleric/wizard/mystic theurge, spells for days, buffing focused, i'd assume at least decent knowledge skills

and possibly, if henrico's schedule happens to fit, a transmuter wizard/fighter 14, IIRC weapons plus natural attacks and buffs for self and then buffs for party
