Ona form on Enketo requires username and password for some reason

hi,
After uploading an excell to ona, and opening it as a form, it demands from me user name and password for some reason.
I want the link to be sent publicly, so this is quite annoying.

How can i remove it?

Hi,

You need to share the form. 

Click the form name under the Name column, on the next page, Under Settings,  change Form Shared to ON.

Anyone with a link to the form will be able to post data.

Hi,

You are welcome.

It looks like you are using the link sharing option (last option under settings)

You just need to turn on Form sharing (should be first or second option under settings,  sorry I am responding from phone)

Once you have turned Form sharing On, go back to your form listing page, choose enter data via web (or computer, cant remember off head) it will open form in enketo, copy and share the link (the link will look like a shortned url)

Noam,

It might be a lingering result of some code we changed.  Could you publish a new form and see if it's still an issue?

I think the authentication requirement might be cached.

If it continues to be a problem our team will take a look into it tomorrow.

As I mentioned before you need to uncheck the "Require Phone Authentication" checkbox in your account settings https://ona.io/hasharon/settings

Great point! We are in the process or updating our user interface. We are adding additional text to clarify the methods of sharing and making forms private.
