We carry out protected butterfly population samplings using an Android (MIUI Global 12.5.5; Redmi Note8) smartphone. For data input we use ODK application (v2024.2.1). Recently we could not upload them to the ONA server (Error: Generic Exception: Error: (402) at
https://odk.ona.io/submission?deviceID=collect%3AOzviZYVKSYYNrMa9) (the solution just found in help center page, MANY THANKS!!).
Unfortunately, somehow during fieldwork the cell phone kept in my shirt pocket "activated" itself and the running ODK application selected and then deleted (700 records) the not yet uploaded data (probably some button was pressed).
I can't find the data in Internal Storage -> Android ->
org.odk.collect.android ->
files -> projects -> abcc84a2-cfc4-41ae-8536-5c9a71a1c743 -> instances. As far as I understood the form data stored in xml and each data is a separate xml file.
I searched for but couldn't find the bin. The question is what can be done in this case?
Many thanks in before hand
Laszlo
