call to member function emit is ambiguous

Hi all..

i'm using omnet 5.5.1 with INET 3.6.8 

and i try to install open-flow from this link (https://github.com/inet-framework/openflow)

but i got this error (call to member function emit is ambiguous error) 

does anyone know how i can solve this ??

I had a similar problem recently and I don t remember how I solved that ...   *i I installed oversim .. but one of this helped 

- problem with version ... installed correct version of omnet and inet

- correctly add this to omnet (and rebuild) ... do you have some signs next to folders that you added

hello zeena does your problem resolved or not, i have the same issue and its not working with me, i have typecasted it to (int)  but not luck. Does cleaning and building of project should be in sequence (inet, openflow) or it doesn't matter. I am sorry i am new to omnetpp.

no it doesn't

so i used init 3.3.6 with another open-flow version that is able to compile with init 

if you want i can send you the open-flow version i used

i think yes you should build the init first and then the project you are working on

Thank you so much for all the help. I need help, i am doing example and when i am configuring .ini files. Some of the attributes don't work for example RadioMedium. does it have to be the inet version issue?

i don't really understand what you mean by "don't work", do you got an error or what ?

but i don't think the issue is with the version..

it may be a wrong configuration ( try to look for similar example to what you are doing and change it step by step )

from where you get that module (UnitDiskRadio)?

i don't have much information about the radio medium, but i think you can use (Ieee80211ScalarRadioMedium)

also try to search or ask in the group may someone help you
