Hi all,

Can anybody suggest me the file or the parameter name that can be used to change the modulation schemes (QPSk or 16 QAM) and coding rates (1/2,3/4) for simulte simulations?
I have searched the ned and header files under physical layer stack inside src folder but to no avail. Is it even possible to change these parameters?

/Aman

Hi Aman,
In fact, in simuLTE CQI (channel quality indicator) is used instead of MCS. It has the same equivalence to MCS and coding rate. Generally, in LTE they uses CQI. It gives  the idea about bitrate, MCS and coding rate. You can find a table that summarizes the CQI values and its correspondence in LTE http://anisimoff.org/eng/lte_mcs.html

Hi,

Thank you for this prompt response.
I have a related query in continuation with the previous question. Another parameter that I have not been able to find is the Channel Bandwidth. Is it possible to set this parameter somewhere in the physical layer stack?
I need to know where this is set in order to set the right number of resource blocks for UL and DL as per the selected channel bandwidth.

Hi dear friend.
How to change CQI?
Is it possible through the [omnet.ini] file or should it be done in another way?
