Go players in Olympia:

There is an active go club in Tacoma!    We are the South Sound Go Club, led by Tom Cruver.  Prior to the pandemic, we were meeting in person, but we have been meeting on-line for several months now, twice a week:

Wednesdays from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00ish
Sundays from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00ish

We usually have 4 - 6 players each time we meet, but we would love to have more.  We meet at the on-line go server  OGS
The South Sound Go Club has a room on OGS:    https://online-go.com/group/4533

We also use the app called Discord, which allows us to chat as we play.  We can arrange to send you an invitation to join our club room on Discord.

Hope to see you soon!

Good. Still living at Wolf Haven with Pam. I work at the coop now and am apparently a coworker of Jason's though I've yet to overlap with a shit of his so have been unable to verify this interesting fact. (;

Still playing go online though not as rigorously. I've gone back to playing a bit of chess as well just to see how the years of go have shaped and impacted my game. That has been an interesting bit of observation; I  play far more patient certainly and have a much better understanding of holding "sente" (initiative in the chess world) and allowing tension to remain.

Otherwise just laying low and letting 2020 have its final words before it dies off. (:

Still biking plenty?
