Training Ocropus 0.7 for Arabic

Hey, 

I'm new to Ocropus and intend to train the Ocropus 0.7 version for Arabic language. Can someone help me with the ocropus-rpred method in which the character recognition takes place? Do I need to modify the chars.py and other python files and add Arabic characters to them and do I need to create a new model for Arabic? If so, how and is there any documentation that I could use for help ? Any help will be appreciated.
