The Virginia chapter received an invitation for 2 chapter members to attend the pre-screening reception with filmmakers. The reception is on October 25th, Friday 6:00 PM at the University of California Washington Center. Please let me know if you are interested in attending.

6:00 pm screenings of documentarian Robin Lungs Finding Kukan and silent short classic The Curse of Quon Gwon written and directed by Marion Wong (ca. 1916/1927). Her grandnephew Dr. Greg Mark, professor of Ethnic Studies at Sacramento State University, will be attending the screenings at University of California Washington Center and preceded by a gathering for light snacks at the Museum for conference participants and friends.
