Also, please share your opinions about and ideas for OASIS. We want to hear from you so that we can create the programming you want and need.

I’m so excited for this hike! It will be led by Laurie Cleveland, Executive Director of the Sourland Conservancy. Laurie brings incredible energy, a deep understanding of our ecosystem, and a wonderful sense of humor. She’s kind, approachable, and makes learning about the natural world engaging for everyone. I’ve worked with her many times, and she has a real gift for helping people of all experience levels see what’s happening in our ecosystem—and what’s being done to support it. She knows her native plants, she knows her invasives, and she even makes them fun to learn about (including which ones are edible 🤣).

If you live in Hopewell Valley, you may recognize her—she’s featured on the cover of Hopewell Valley Neighbors this week!

I couldn’t be happier that Laurie will be guiding us along the Ecosystems Trail in the Sourlands.  I hope to see many of you there!

Good morning Liz,

I will be stepping back from my Ecology Teacher role here at Princeton Montessori, to be replaced by Stephen Pitts, who I understand you already know.

Thank you so much for your leadership and support over the past 4 years as I embarked on my second career!  I have advised Stephen that he should be as active as possible in the OASIS group and I am sure that he will be in touch shortly.

Best regards and thanks again,

Gery
