yep, that works!  For some reason, searching for nyc-supercollider, nyc supercollider, or even supercollider on meetup just returns a bunch of loosely related groups...

Anyway, we're in search of the next venue, since Tom's changing gigs soon. My daughter is looking into the possibility of United Technologies in Dumbo, or we might investigate the meetup space offerings (still free i think).  If people want to weigh on on potential dates for the next one we can start firming something up.

Since Tom is moving into a new gig, we'll again be in search of a spot for the group. Meetup itself has a free thing going that maybe we can take advantage of:

Sounds promising..my daughter is also looking into United Tech in Dumbo, but we'd have to modify the meeting structure (structure?) to make it something they'd want to host (maybe continue with the 1/2 intro, 1/2 advanced approach we've tried before).

Thoughts on dates?  If we can firm u something I'll look into the meetup spaces & see if we can land something.
