Possible topic for upcoming PawPrints: UKC, IABCA, etc.

Would anyone like to write an article about showing in alternate conformation venues such as UKC or IABCA? The pros and cons? What you like/dislike?

We are an AKC club, so we emphasize those shows as the proving ground for our dogs. AKC judges are vetted for our breed in theory and there are paths for educating judges prior to and after they are approved for our breed.
But many in our membership use these other events. 
Let's examine what the benefits and drawbacks might be.
