Ham looking for some FILL-IN digi help NW of Portland

Had an email from Scott KB8PRS in Manning, nw of Portland OR, asking for some help on making a fill-in digi for his area near Manning.

I found the nearby full-featured digis including NPLNS, IDIOTV, and SADDLE, and have reached out to the NPLNS leadership who is listed at N1KEZ Rob Geurtsen. I have not been able to connect with Rob. Does anyone have contact info for him, as the r...@n1kez.net address bounces.

Dave et al.  This is a summary of what I have sent out:

"I'm out in Banks/Manning and a long time ham who has dabbled in aprs a bit and new to digital modes in general.

1 - I'm interested in setting up a portable digipeater which has then turned into me considering an igate system (portable and/or fixed at my qth). I've been around long enough to know not to jump into an existing system without talking to those that run the existing system.

2 - I've got a couple of digital radios that are not even set up yet and would love to learn more about what is happening locally with digital."

Obviously request 1 is more what this group is about.  I am also on a pnw digital group but don't see much activity there either.
