Please assist as I experirence below error while editting.

Make sure you have edit access and that you are the only one with the spreadsheet open.

Try a copy of the spreadsheet.

How far do you get on the screen before you get the error message?

Are you clicking on the items in the right side column to add them to the form where needed.  That insures that the merge tag matches a column in the sheet.

Have you tried the process shown in the description of the group?  I don't think you can get this far with those errors but it is worth checking.

If you still have a problem, share a spreadsheet without sensitive information with me.  I will check if it runs for me.

getname of undefined is programmerspeak for you left something blank which must have a value.

this error is because Toto did do something wrong, not FormMule.

I get the error when i go to below section for editing, see attached image

@nv-form-mule-add-on show should i sort the error because I cant even save what can be undefined?

FM must figure out in which column the (Form) Answer can be found for the merger.

Critical for Column Names:

- must be UNIQUE() when UPPER()  as <<Email>> = <<eMail>>

- should not contain any CarriageReturn or NewLine as these 'break' tags into <<Total <br>
Failure>>

- better kept short like <<eMail>> than begging for trouble long like <<What is the eMail-address we can contact  you with any questions and problems?>>
(one typo editing your template and the specified tag is undefined)

- refrain from using UNICODE in your Column Names like <<Don't use 🚫🙏🕳️🙅>> as not all modern caracter-sets and new emojis are yet supported by FormMule.


Often a simple change in the attached Form may leed to 
renames in the column names and thus <<tags>>.
A simple creation of a new question in the form and removal of an obsolete one may result in duplicate column names as the old may still hold date and is not automatically removed in the sheet which operates FormMule.

Further, editing the template merge data is quite easy to do without the editor, and often useful when you run into problems.
To find the stored templates open the burgermenu on the lowerleft of your sheettab and see all sheettabs listed as a menu. Among these you find all templates and these sheettabs consist of two active columns (A:B)

If you find (mere) duplicates here, cleanup the mess.
If the content of the template is not proper, adjust it accordingly.
If there is no <<tag>> in the required fields like To: then make sure there is. FM needs these to not confuse mailrelays in what you're trying to achieve eventually.

If something is still left out then undefined is a bitch an it's easier to start over with a new sheet and attach the form to the new. Be careful to copy the Sent status data for all responses allready processed successfully.
The Sent Status for those with errors can be cleared to have FM process them again.

Anyway, i hope you're not offended or too exited by the above, I'm celebrating a great holiday and was doing some emails looking outside my tent on a rainy day in the Pfalz, Germany near Luxemburg.
