formMule is no longer automatically sending out e-mails

Since the template error was fixed last month, I’ve noticed a consistent issue across five different spreadsheets I’ve been using:

Every time you open the extension, it seems like the settings aren’t being persisted, as the menu option reverts back to "Open/Get user key...". However, if you simply click the "Open" button and then close it immediately, all menu options become available. After that, if you click the "preview and send all" option, the emails will be sent out correctly.

You need to manually do this for any trigger options to work.

Try turning the triggers off.  Close FormMule and then open FM and turn the triggers on.

For me, the Template set up page stopped working during this last fiasco.  My templates still exist in the previews, but the setup page has the number of templates but then only one box below for the template names and send conditions which are not editable.  Currently one of my triggers is not working, but there doesn't seem to be a way to fix it.  It had previously been working fine.  

So frustrating because I use this form a lot.

There is a link in the description of the group.  There was a change months ago that caused problems if there were certain conditions in the titles of the columns.

Follow that link and you should be taken to a spreadsheet that has a file to be copied to your spreadsheet to identify the issues.  Be sure to read the directions sheet in that spreadsheet.

When triggers are not working you have to go through all of the steps.  My tool locates most errors.

Make sure to use the original names for the templates.

I will posting the follow up question I sent to Joe here again.

It seems toggling the trigger on and off did the trick. Although the menu option still defaults to "Open" when reopening the file, I can live with that.

However, I also have a few files that do not use either the form or timer trigger but instead rely on the "Send" condition of a column value. For instance, there's a column called "Send Notification" where the value can be Yes or No. This value is calculated based on the current date and time in relation to a datetime column in the spreadsheet. How can I reset these?

Go through the setup from step one.  There are only three ways to run formmule.  Form trigger, time trigger or manually.

I guessing there is a time trigger set to run hourly.  You have to have the calculations set to run when the spreadsheet is closed.
