Hello,

Good Day.

I am currently utilising FormMule with my Google Form and have observed that whenever the ownership of the form is transferred, the FormMule configuration is also deleted. Could you please advise if there is any way to preserve the previous configuration settings?

Additionally, a message is displayed stating that the "Merge on form submit" option has been configured and can only be disabled by the previous user. FYI. The google sheet ownership has changed as well.

Thanks.

Sincerely,
Shizuka Ch'ng

The settings stay with the account that created them.

The person that owns the account that set up the merge must remove the trigger.
Then the new owner can set the trigger to their account.

Hi Shizuka,

For role-specific tasks the best way is to arrange a functional account over an personal-bound one.
The person with the assigned role gets to use both her/his own account AND the functional account (e.g. plan...@domain.com or regist...@msec.com.my)

Transfer the ownership of the sheet to this functional account and have the admin grant additional rights for mail or storage quota and such.
You get to manage both your own/personal and the functional account.

This way you can not only separate your own business communication from the functional part, making your own inbox way less crowded, but the transfer of the role - or the sharing with a peer - becomes a whole lot easier :)

Cheers, Bart
