Issue with Form Mule Automation Not Triggering Automatically

Hello Team,

I am writing to report an issue regarding the Form Mule automation configured in our Google Sheet.

The automation was scheduled to run every hour with email templates based on defined conditions, and it was functioning correctly until the afternoon of 19th February. Since then, it has stopped triggering automatically. Although new responses are being recorded in the sheet and the defined conditions are met, the emails are not being sent unless I manually trigger them through the Form Mule settings.

The only change made on 19th February was linking the main Response sheet to a Python program to fetch data and trigger emails separately to supervisors. However, I am unclear why this change would impact the Form Mule automation, as the Form Mule setup has been implemented on a different sheet where responses from the main Response sheet are imported. The automation is not configured directly on the primary Response sheet.

I would appreciate your assistance in understanding how modifications to the primary sheet could affect the automation configured on the secondary sheet, and guidance on how to resolve this issue so that the hourly trigger resumes functioning as expected.

Hi Sunil,

There are no devs of the FormMule addon in this group, only fans trying to support others.

As retired dev, sysop, admin, integrator and architect I can relate to your approach and thinking, but let me remind you of one thing:

Do not conclude a specific action of yours is the cause of why FormMule has failed beforehand. 

It's hard to find evidence of why FormMule stops working but FormMule as of late is not actively developed and Google has added more and more restrictions and limitations on permissions

which make troubleshooting harder than ever.

If you can already obtain all the records in your script.py on the CLI, why not continue to 'mail -s' the template and mergemail it directly? Suitable as workaround or alternative practice all together...
