Merging Cell Colour

Hello I am a teacher and I am trying to merge data that also needs the cell colour transferred to the doc is there a way to do this? Thank you for your help.

I don't think I have ever done that .

You might want to try putting html code for the color with the data .

You would have to be able to add the code with a formula.

I'm not near a computer right now or I would do some testing.

I have been helping folks for years and don't remember this type of a requests.  Maybe I'm getting old.

I spent considerable amount of time and couldn't get it to work.  

I recommend you not worry about the color and the family will find the value if it is clearly marked.

If I come up with a solution, I will tell you.
