Trigger not working

Good afternoon!

I am trying to trigger a form to email upon submission.  I set up the merge, manually run autocrat one time - and on the manual run it works.  Then, upon new submissions, it does not email.  I have the box checked that says to run on form submit.

Any clues on how to fix this?

Is the merge job in the responses sheet?  

You can try removing the trigger and adding it back.

Let us know if you still have a problem.

Hello, I am interested in the topic because I am having the same problem. I configured it to run when the form is submitted it doesn't work and I also configured it to run every hour and it doesn't work either...

I have the same issue, I even deleted and set the whole process back up.

Try removing the triggers via the Manage Triggers option when you first open Autocrat. Close Autocrat.  Then set the triggers again.

If the triggers have never worked, make sure the merge is written on the response sheet.  You must be using a Google Form.

If all else fails try starting over with a new form destination.

Thank you for your answer I will try to remove the triggers and put them back. 

Autocrat is not active on a form response page. It is active on a table that includes the responses from a form but with special formatting. But normally, if I understood the operation correctly, it must be triggered when it perceives a change in the columns concerned, right?

I have had better success when the merge is in the responses sheet.

The time trigger should work all of the time.

It is the action of receiving a new form response that triggers the form response action in Autocrat.

Maybe there is a maximum number of jobs? Because I created 20 of them. The problem may be here?

20 is a lot of merges jobs.  Autocrat has to open each merge and check to see if any rows should be processed.  Google give an add-on a limited time to complete.

Does Autocrat work when run manually?

You may want to look for something that is in multiple merges with different values.  If you can add a column that contains what is different you might be able to reduce the number of merges.

I'm going to make several workbooks so I can divide the number of merges to be done. Does Autocrat work on a closed workbook?

Hello, after having tried several solutions including making several workbooks to put 3-4 autocrat or to put much simpler merging conditions, autocrat still does not want to start automatically... Could it be that my merge start line is 4 and my titles are in 2? Should my first line of data be right after the titles?

If Autocrat runs manually, it should run on a Time trigger.  The form trigger must be from a Google form.  Autocrat must be on the same spreadsheet that receives the response to run on the form trigger.  

I prefer that the merge be written on the response sheet.  I have not tested the form trigger when the merge is written on a different sheet.
