File name is not working correctly

The add-on fails to name each file differently using <<tags>>. I´ve double checked for blank spaces or any other errors but still won´t get the name correctly, it just reproduces the <<tag>>.

Example:

Instead of a file "Receipt John Doe" , I´m getting "Receipt <<NAME>>  <<FAMILY NAME>>"

Any ideas besides making sure the tag is properly copied??

Are you using the names of the columns in the spreadsheet as the merge tags?  Use the pullout drawer to get the merge tags.

I'm experiencing the same issue. We use the pull-out drawer, and it's not working for us, either (working with another teacher). We're emailing a PDF as a result of a form. Everything else except for naming appears to work correctly.

Update - We edited the text on the form that fed the spreadsheet then updated the spreadsheet and the Autocrat job. It's working for us now. There must have been something funky in the field?

Can you send a screenshot of the part of AutoCrat where you are setting the field name. Then also send a section of the spreadsheet with that column?
