Jobs just disappeared

Good morning,  I went to run a job in autocrat, and the job is no longer there, and neither is the 2nd job.  I have used one of the jobs for the past 2 months. They both just disappeared!  

I didn't delete them. I contacted our technology integration specialists, and she couldn't figure out why and told me ask for help from this group. Below is the message that shows up when I open up Autocrat.

Having the same issue as well.

Autocrat reads the hidden sheet and then deletes it.  The last step is to write the hidden file with updated information.  If Autocrat doesn't complete correctly, the hidden file is not written.

Solution:

Stop accepting new submissions if a Google form is used.

Search through the revision history until you locate the hidden file.

Restore that version.

Make a copy.

Restore the most recent version.

Copy the hidden file from the copy.

Your jobs should be restored.

Delete the copy.

Change the form to accept entries if necessary.

You may want to make a copy of the hidden sheet.  If the hidden sheet should disappear again, you can make a copy of the backup and rename it.

Joe,

The method I used was a little shorter:

Click on File and Version history and then locate the hidden "DO NOT DELETE AutoCrat..." tab and time that has data in Row 2

Copy data from Row 2

Exit Version history, unhide the "DO NOT DELETE AutoCrat..." tab, and paste into Row 2. Hide tab again.

Run Autocrat job so it does what it missed

Are there any dangers in that method?

My more pressing question is, why is this happening?

I don't know if I've seen this happen previously, but on 3 of 4 sheets that I checked, the data was went missing this week. There is no indication that a human was involved. It happened 10/14 5:08am, 10/16 7:20am, 10/16 5:12AM EST on 3 different sheets.

Should I expect this will affect all the sheets that use Autocrat?

There is nothing wrong if you can copy row two from the revision history.  I had difficulty coping data from the revision screen.
