to NuttX
Hi,

I'm looking at porting NuttX to the NXP S32S247TV, just got chips & devkit recently and am trying to come up to speed with NuttX and the S32S24.

A quick question about where things would go and naming of things:
  1. I'm planning to add ARCH_ARMV8R, ARCH_CORTEXR52, ARCH_CHIP_S32SXXX, ARCH_CHIP_S32S247TV flags to kconfig. Is that the right nomenclature?
  2. Does it make sense to add an armv8-r folder under arch? I'm not sure how different armv8-r, if it needs a new folder.
Going to be spending some time with the ref docs for the ARM core & MCU this weekend to make more of a plan for the port.

Thanks,

Jacob

Hi Jacob,

The mailing list has more or less moved to the Apache Software Foundation. You will probably get better response there:

Hi Jacob,

As Mr. Pelle said, the list moved to Apache Foundation, so please
subscribe there.

1. Yes your names suggestion are correct.
2. Yes, you should create it inside arch/arm/src/ and arch/arm/include/

Alan

I recommend creating a new folder for amv8-r.  We do not want to mix architectures.

Thanks all,

I'll move my next questions to the other list, after I do a little more reading.
