Derivative values for given (x0, y0) on the curve

Dear Members,

I am working on degree 3 BSpline to obtain combustor geometry for my research. My research requires to evaluate knot value for given point on curve. And also I should be able to calculate first and second derivative value for given point (x0, y0) of the curve.

Is there any special utility to perform these calculations?

I think you can try this solution for finding knot value from the curve points: https://groups.google.com/g/nurbs-python/c/Pm8CdXBk5wQ/m/Wgn176-VDAAJ

You'll probably need to modify it a bit to make it work for your case.
