Dear Community,

I have just started using geomdl. I have some points and want to create a surface. I have seen examples here but still I cannot strat working efficiently with this wonderful package. These are my Points:

my_surf=[[1.,1.,3.],[2.,1.,4.],[2.,2.,4.5],[3.,1.,4.5],[3.,2.,5.],\

                  [3.,3.,6.],[4.,1.,3.5],[4.,2.,4.4],[4.,3.,4.4],[5.,1.,4.]]

I have also upladed a fig to show how my surface should look like.

I do appreciate any help in advance.

Cheers,

Ali Dashti

I think you need surface trims to generate something like this. You can also repeat some control points (some CAD software do this).

Dear Onur Bingol,
I do appreciate your hint. But honestly I did not get it because I have just started using geomdl. Can you please explain how I can use surface trims? Is there any example like my case in your repository?
Thanks again for being that much supportive.
Regards,
Ali

There are some examples in the geomdl-examples repository: https://github.com/orbingol/geomdl-examples/tree/master/surface/trimming

Thanks for the link. Sorry for my basic problems. In this example: https://github.com/orbingol/geomdl-examples/blob/master/surface/trimming/trim_single.py
from where I can find the ex_surface01.cpt? I tried to run it but I faced error.
Isn't ther simpler examples like my points?
Thanks for being that much patient.
