If you intend to work in Taiwan without R.O.C. passport, the Taiwan Employment Gold Card might be your choice.
The Taiwan Employment Gold Card is a combined visa, work permit, and residence permit. The card gives you the right to stay and work in Taiwan for 1 to 3 years, and you can apply online without sponsorship. It comes with open-work rights, so you can work for any (or multiple) companies in Taiwan or start your own business.

✨Welly Yang is a singular artist whose career began when he played the leading role in the original Broadway production of Miss Saigon. From there, he received critical acclaim for performances in New York, Asia, and throughout Europe. With his theater company Second Generation, Welly co-wrote the musicals Making Tracks and the Wedding Banquet with Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning writer Brian Yorkey. He is a second generation Taiwanese American and has continued to perform frequently in Taiwan, with Broadway concerts and his musical Finding Home. In 2020, among the global pandemic, Welly and his beautiful wife, Dina Morishita, temporarily relocated to Taiwan with their family. Since then, they have come to discover a country so embracing, warm, and loving, that they are seriously considering a longer stay.
