Advanced Group Policy Management- proper removal?

So, I’m working in an environment where someone installed AGPM a year or more ago, but never used it and the powers that be decided they don’t want it installed. The person who installed it is long gone.

I’ve heard that removal can be problematic. I’ve searched and googled, but the best I have found is just how to modify it.

Is there any documentation or has anyone dealt with actually removing this from a production environment?

Can't imagine where there should be a problem.
Uninstall kill the server and your done.
All GPO are living in ...\sysvol\domainname\Policies anyways.
