I just had to upgrade a VM from Win 10 to Win 11 ENT. I despise the fact that I can't expand the taskbar height anymore to 2 rows. So I downloaded Explorer Patcher, which I've used before, and what (used to) allow me to do this. But now, I can't seem to increase the height on this taskbar.

I really want this capability, as I always have a lot of programs and docs open, and I hate, loathe and despise when an OS combines taskbar buttons on me. (yes, I know that's a personal issue on my part).

If not Explorer Patcher, does anyone have a recommendation on how I can get the taskbar back the way I want it to be, and not the way they think I want it to be?

Pretty sure that Start11 from StarDock will do this. But I don’t currently have it installed to test.

Thanks! I'll check it out ... it's odd it works on my home computer, and not on my work VM, to enable multi-line taskbar ... Oh, well ...

AH HA! I figured it out.

In Explorer OPatcher, you have to set the taskbar style to : "Windows 10 (Explorer Patcher)".. I was choosing just "Windows 10" (a different option). And then as long as the taskbar isn't locked, you can increase the height, or move it around.

That makes me happy. LOL

You can also make the Start Menu look like Win 10, which I prefer to the Win 11 style.

Anyway, I am good to go. I believe I might have originally heard about Explorer Patcher from you, BTW. Thanks!
