How to remove proxy option for user URGENT please

Long story short… have barracuda appliance web proxy that everything goes through… all users point at it…. Appliance dead…. New one coming few days… found a way to unlock (GPO) option so users can disable proxy, but need to find a way to do it automatically, but I cannot find the right setting (we have chrome and edge)… all articles explain how to disable access to that option (user lock out), but how do you just turn it OFF. hahaha
We use a registry setting (x3) UPDATE
I tried to set it to DELETE the keys, but it did not work even though GPO (rsop.msc, gpupdate /R) says it applied, but it was late night so who knows if I did it right.

So what would work would be a way to disable the proxy so users don’t have to do it manually and/or remove the registry keys. Not sure if removal of keys will be enough though.
Nightmare weekend for sure hahaha…

Push a script via GPO that deletes the keys. Either batch (REG DELETE) or PowerShell (Remove-Item).

Thank you everyone that helped and we got email and edge working again by setting that one value and telling GPO (user under edge) to never use a proxy server, but now a new beast has appeared since we also control Chrome browser (default) through ADMX and the policy that removes the proxy is deprecated. Does that mean it will no longer work at all? I did replace the older admx with a newer one in Sep 2021 but my understanding is that the GPO was built on an older ADMX template and adding a new one in the sysvol policies folder only applies settings or changes to new GPO based on that one. How the hell did the GPO we have suddenly show deprecated when that GPO has not changed in a while. I have the newest admx now and will play with it tomorrow.
Any thoughts? We rarely mess with it sorry so not up to speed.

FIXED. Thank you all for insights and suggestions.
I finally figured out there was a conflict with a setting (some left over thing) on the computer GPO side.
Once I removed that and turned off proxy server and did a gp update it worked right away.

To remove proxy from Chrome or Edge (we do not use IE but the setting is in the same place I believe) or both?

EDGE (user GPO and make sure you don’t have it again under Computer GPO that is what bit me yesterday)
I had to disable the ProxyEnable registry setting
set
value to 0
EDGE
Then gpupdate/force
And that was enough for EDGE and CHROME to work without proxy.
We have a Barracuda Proxy gateway (or rather had until it died lol)
