That's one of our best results in the last three seasons. Early injury, good goals, everyone played well, good subs.

I agree Steve, we really had to battle second half, as Arsenal did not give up. We rode our luck a few times and gave the ball away out of defence too quickly at times. However, a great battling win.

Neto is some Player and quickly becoming one of my favourites with his happy approach to the game, sportsmanship and skill. He is still only 20! We have a real gem of a Player who will only get better!

The beer will taste a little sweeter during our discussions on Saturday, looking forward to it. Can we beat Liverpool?

Neto and Podence looking quality. Podence lifting the ball over the defender for his goal was outstanding. Reminded me of myself in my playing days (the defender on his arse...). Traore was a handful as well - really can create something from absolutely nothing.

Not expecting a win against Liverpool, although they are looking more ordinary this season.

I must admit I was concerned when Silva came off for Kilman as we have been upset by going defensive when we are ahead (e.g. Watford).

However, I read thoughts from someone with a much better understanding than me, who said that Arsenal were whipping crosses in, and so by going to 5 at the back Marcal could get to the wing and stop it.

I feel a bit sorry for Podence as he always gets taken off despite having a great game

Worth noting that we beat Arsenal without (for the most part) Jimenez and Neves, and obviously without Jonny, Jota and Doherty - 5 players who were the spine of the team the past few seasons. Great to see the variety we get with the new players as well as seeing Neto step up. He is quickly becoming a superstar!

Silva looked good too! Lots of positives to take from that game.
