Wolves have agreed a permanent deal for exciting Portuguese forward Goncalo Guedes to join the club on a five-year deal.

The 25-year-old joins following a five-year stint with Valencia, and his most productive in Spanish football, where he netted 13 times and recorded six assists to guide his side into the top half of La Liga.

Capable of playing on the left and coming inside on his favoured right foot, Guedes has also operated wide right and centrally for Valencia, where he has become a key figure under Gennaro Gattuso.

I think they heard the whole of Wolverhampton and the Black Country moaning Steve. About time we signed a good forward, roughly 1 goal in 3 in La Liga last season.

Hopefully a midfielder next.

That chap Trincao from last season.

Gutted Chiquinho is injured he was starting to impress me.
