In these trying times, I feel it's important that the elite football clubs should do what they can to help those clubs in lower leagues.

It's times like these where class and dignity take over. Irrespective of rivalries, history or animosity. The footballing giants of the world's most prestigious league, the English Premier League, should be showing the little clubs that the game we all love is bigger than that.

That's why I'm advocating 'Hampers for Hawthorns'. It's an initiative where, whilst restocking your cupboards for the apocalypse, you've come across those tins of peaches that went out of date in 1995. That home brand cake mix with the logo from 2 rebrands ago. Basically all the shit that you'd normally palm off on the old folks at harvest festival time, is packaged up in a box you've found in a skip, and deposited outside West Bromwich Albion's ground .

Let's show them how much we care.
