...... to search for a usable simulator.

!   ns2 is officially unsupported since year 2015 or earlier. No  6G, probably?

ns3 was released 2008. Now at version "ns-3.36".

Yes not available for ns-2.  But there is an extension available for ns-3 which supports some basic 6G Simulations.
