Possible Common Ringed Plover Aug 13

Four days ago I photographed a bird at Scots Bay that I believe is a Common Ringed Plover. My long discussion, references to relevant CRPL females, comment from Bruce Mactavish and five annotated photos are all included in my eBird report.


I've been working with Jake & Alix for four days on this bird. I apologize for holding it back but I don't think it could be refound. I knew exactly what I was looking for on three of the past four days but could not re-find it. It's a shame I didn't get photos of the feet. Good luck with that !

I have re-submitted my plover as straight Common Ringed Plover. I have added just seven lines of text to my Discussion, no revision above that. I very much thank Eric Mills for his input directly to me.
