solution to the issue for installation

hi i am new to ns3 simulator , i am trying to install ns3 simulator o my WSL installation using ubuntu distribution i wanted to use the jupyter notebook for programming based on ns3 lte module but their came an issue is it necessary that my ns3 installation should be in directory of conda to use it since i have installed conda in main and ns3 inside user directory . after launching notebook when i used command from ns import ns this executed properly but import ns.core or any like import ns.application is not executing and shows no such module ns.core please suggest some solution to this.

You need to set the environment variable

PYTHONPATH=$PYTHONPATH:/ns-3-dev/build/bindings/python
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$LD_LIBRARY_PATH:/ns-3-dev/build/lib

Then start the jupyter server.
