Gantry 5 v5.5.15 issue with PHP 8

The issue I reported on the Gantry Github page got some attention from another user. That I know of, it hasn’t been officially fixed yet, but user @iantrudell provided changes that do resolve the issue.

Apparently, PHP 8 doesn’t tolerate a NULL for a string variable in all cases. So you have to typecast (string) variables where NULL isn’t tolerated.
